Okay here I’ll show you how you can operate your body better by thinking differently.
To show this I proposed to play a game: I took a small coin and put it on my friend’s open palm on the waist level. I held my hand above his hand about a foot or a little more. This is kind of a simple game of reflexes: Now my friend who has the coin has to close his palm before I grab the coin from his hand.
I first did it in a regular way (as I put it) and he had no problem closing his hand first, when he saw his hand starting to descend. Then I said I’ll use another technique. This time my hand moved so quickly that he didn’t have a chance closing his hand first and I took the coin.
After that, we switched roles: I held the coin and he tried to take it from my palm. But the moment I started to descend his hand I’d close the fingers on the coin before his hand reached mine. He have tried his best speed (and he believed that his reflexes are pretty good), consciously trying to do it as fast as he thought he could.
Then I told him the mind trick that allowed me to move much faster. The trick is as follows: you should not consciously think how to grab the coin faster. Just imagine in your mind, as you hold your hand above your opponent’s that the coin is already in your hand. And at the moment that you can clearly see the coin, let go. Let the subconscious mind do the movement for you. You’ll be amazed at the difference in speed you would achieve. Most probably you’ll have the coin in your hand and you wouldn’t know how it got there so fast. You’ll be shaken when you notice the difference between the 2 ways.
I encourage you to try this simple exercise with your friends and relatives. It only takes a minute or two, its lots of fun and easily demonstrates the power of the mind. You can also try this technique to catch flies or mosquitoes eheh.
Tell everyone about your experience with this exercise by leaving comments below this article.
Cheers

ever wondered why it takes place?
the brain processes information as discrete quanta where visual information is collected about every 35ms. it takes even more time to initiate motor movement and coordinate muscles…
by allowing the “subconcious” to take over, you are basically overriding the info collection step and initiating movement even before the stimuli occurs. stimuli in this case being the other person trying to grab the coin. so, we arent really “operating” the body any better, just responding to things we know will happen before it actually happens…
we are machines, with limits!

did you know that you can overrule your subconscious mind?
you have to use your conscious mind to think harder and try imaging (see everything that will happen)that the coin is already in your hand,
it’s like programing your subconscious mind. Believe me there are people who really can control theirsubconscious.
Hey buddy, use your imaginations to program your “mechanical” body the way you want, imaginations has no limits!
