Okay here I’ll show you how you can operate your body better by thinking differently.
To show this I proposed to play a game: I took a small coin and put it on my friend’s open palm on the waist level. I held my hand above his hand about a foot or a little more. This is kind of a simple game of reflexes: Now my friend who has the coin has to close his palm before I grab the coin from his hand.

ever wondered why it takes place?
the brain processes information as discrete quanta where visual information is collected about every 35ms. it takes even more time to initiate motor movement and coordinate muscles…
by allowing the “subconcious” to take over, you are basically overriding the info collection step and initiating movement even before the stimuli occurs. stimuli in this case being the other person trying to grab the coin. so, we arent really “operating” the body any better, just responding to things we know will happen before it actually happens…
we are machines, with limits! ;)

did you know that you can overrule your subconscious mind?
you have to use your conscious mind to think harder and try imaging (see everything that will happen)that the coin is already in your hand,
it’s like programing your subconscious mind. Believe me there are people who really can control theirsubconscious.
Hey buddy, use your imaginations to program your “mechanical” body the way you want, imaginations has no limits! ;)

  • The World's Greatest Lie...

“Everyone believes the world’s greatest lie…” says the mysterious old man.

“What is the world’s greatest lie?” the little boy asks.

The old man replies, “It’s this: that at a certain point in our lives, we lose control of what’s happening to us, and our lives become controlled by fate. That’s the world’s greatest lie.”

To experience this fascinating illusion, try the methods below (excerpted from Phantoms in the Brain by V.S. Ramachandran, M.D., Ph.D., and Sandra Blakeslee)…

You’ll need two helpers (…call them Julie and Mina). Sit in a chair, blindfolded, and ask Julie to sit on another chair in front of you, facing the same direction as you are. Have Mina stand on your right side and give her the following instructions: “Take my right hand and guide my index finger to Julia’s nose. Move my hand in a rhythmic manner so that my index finger repeatedly strokes and taps her nose in a random sequence like a Morse code. At the same time, use your left hand to stroke my nose with the same rhythm and timing. The stroking and tapping of my nose and Julia’s nose should be in perfect synchrony.”
